Job summary

Grafters Recruitment Consultants Ltd is seeking a technically skilled Test Technician to join a growing production team in Eastbourne. This role is initially on a 6 month contract basis, focused on ensuring products meet strict testing, quality and safety standards before delivery.

You will test, inspect and verify assemblies and electronic systems, read schematics, troubleshoot faults and work closely with Engineering to drive quality improvements across production.

Qualifications

• Testing, inspection and verification of completed products and systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.

Responsibilities

• Test completed products, assemblies and electronic systems according to procedures.
• Carry out functional, electrical and performance testing before shipment.
• Set up and operate test and measurement equipment.
• Measure electrical parameters such as voltage, current and resistance.
• Read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults.
• Record test results and maintain quality documentation.
• Support continuous improvements in testing methods and product quality.
• Assist with prototype testing and new product introduction when required.
