Job summary

Zenovo in Bristol is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to join on-site. You will test, troubleshoot, and verify electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies, diagnose faults, and support prototype builds.

The role involves soldering, rework, and documentation to ensure products meet requirements. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on testing experience, can read schematics, and is proficient with test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Experience with soldering and rework to component level.
• Proficient with MS Office and documentation practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of PCBs and electro‑mechanical assemblies to spec.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to component level using test equipment.
• Interpret schematics to support testing and rework activities.
• Carry out soldering, rework, potting, and staking as required.
• Record results and rework data with clear, traceable documentation.
• Investigate failures and escalate with data to Engineering when needed.
• Support prototype builds and new product introduction while maintaining equipment.
