Job summary

Technify Talent Limited is seeking a Test Engineer for electronics and systems validation in Surrey. The role involves hands-on testing, fault-finding, calibration, PCB repair and continuous improvement across bench, module and system levels.

You will read schematics, interpret diagrams and provide technical feedback to improve reliability while developing efficient test methods for consistent results.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in electronic testing or fault-finding in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Strong component-level fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience with both through-hole and surface-mount components.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and identify components and functional areas.
• Good understanding of electronic components including op-amps, diodes and transistors.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronics testing in line with defined specifications and procedures.
• Carry out bench, module and system testing of electronic products.
• Investigate customer returns, identify faults and verify corrective actions.
• Fault-find and repair PCBs at component level across through-hole and surface-mount technologies.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics and technical documentation.
• Provide feedback to Engineering to improve product quality and reliability.
• Develop and improve test methods to increase efficiency and consistency.
