Job summary

SVC Technical is seeking an Electronics Stores & Inventory Assistant in Wymondham. The role involves receiving and inspecting electronic components, building component kits for production, and maintaining precise stock records for smooth dispatch.

Experience handling electronic components is essential. You will work in a busy technical stores environment, using ERP and stock-control systems, and ensure accurate counts and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with electronic components is essential.
• Experience within electronics manufacturing, electronic component distribution or a technical stores environment.
• Experience using ERP, inventory management or stock-control systems.
• Good knowledge of electronic components and part numbers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and record incoming deliveries.
• Check components against purchase orders, specs and documents.
• Inspect components for correct part numbers, polarity and condition.
• Identify and quarantine damaged or counterfeit components.
• Book stock onto the inventory management system.
• Store components following ESD-safe procedures.
• Assemble and pack component kits from BOMs and pick lists.
• Prepare kits for production and issue to manufacturing.
• Package components for dispatch and prepare shipping paperwork.
