Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a Site Stores Assistant to support busy operations. You will handle deliveries, maintain stock levels and issue parts to teams, while keeping accurate records and ensuring stores remain safe and compliant.

Ideal candidates have experience in stores/warehouse roles, strong organisation, and IT skills. Familiarity with stock control systems and manufacturing environments is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with stock control systems and in industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries and manage stock levels.
• Issue parts and tools to operational teams and maintain inventory records.
• Keep the stores area organised, safe and compliant.
• Carry out stock checks and monitor inventory levels.
• Prepare materials for maintenance activities and ensure parts/equipment are readily available.
