Job summary

ASC Global is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our London, UK team. You will hunt down hard-to-find components, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with sales to fulfill customer requirements quickly in a fast-paced, global distribution environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–10 years of experience in electronics sourcing, an existing supplier network, and proven negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing. This is an on-site role based in London.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in electronic components sourcing or procurement within independent distribution
• Proven ability to hunt down hard-to-find, short lead-time, and allocated components
• Existing network of suppliers and industry contacts

Responsibilities

• Source electronic components across global supplier networks.
• Hunt down hard-to-find, obsolete, and allocated components under tight deadlines.
• Identify availability, lead times, and pricing across a global supplier base.
• Build and maintain relationships with a global network of suppliers and manufacturers.
• Work with sales teams to fulfill customer requirements quickly and accurately.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure best outcomes.
• Track market trends, shortages, allocations, and pricing fluctuations.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activity in company systems.
• Collaborate with purchasing, quality, and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Respond quickly to time-sensitive sourcing requests in a fast-paced environment.
