PROCUREMENT HEADS LTD in the United Kingdom seeks a Global Sourcing Specialist to develop and execute global sourcing strategies for direct and indirect spend. You will spend time weekly in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with 25-40% anticipated global travel, and you will help build international supplier partnerships and driving commercial value.

The role covers electronics, mechanical components, and a range of indirect categories, offering a prominent influence on the future of a global supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement and supplier management with cost/value delivery.
• Ability to lead negotiations and supplier benchmarking to achieve favorable terms.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work with cross‑functional teams across regions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing global sourcing strategies across direct and indirect spend.
• Sourcing direct products including electronics and mechanical components.
• Managing sourcing activity for mechanical hardware (nuts, bolts, fasteners, etc.).
• Supporting indirect procurement across PPE, travel, storage, logistics and shipping services.
• Identifying, evaluating and onboarding suppliers, leading RFQs and commercial negotiations.
• Building relationships with international suppliers, esp. China, and establishing global supply agreements.
• Travel internationally to visits suppliers and colleagues to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
