Job summary

French Selection UK is seeking a Sales and Purchasing Executive for Honiton. The role combines sourcing large volumes of electronic components with building supplier and buyer networks, in a hybrid setup after a training period.

You will negotiate deals, manage your pipeline and ensure smooth customer experiences, with room for growth and progression. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience beneficial but not a requirement.
• Background in electronics or manufacturing a plus.
• Fluency in another European language would be an advantage, although not essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
• Dynamic, enthusiastic and proactive with strong multitasking abilities.
• Room for growth and progression.
• Must live within a commutable distance.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and purchasing large volumes of electronic components and managing resale to existing network of buyers.
• Identify, approach, and build relationships with global manufacturing businesses.
• Negotiate and close purchase deals with new and existing clients.
• Liaise internally with the sales and trading team for smooth customer experience.
• Develop and manage a personal pipeline of purchase opportunities and accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping in the system.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the buying process.
