Job summary

The Cambridge-based Repair Technician role offers £27,000 to £35,000 per year and requires eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC). You will diagnose faults, disassemble and reassemble products, and perform PCB soldering in a structured, process-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have electronics repair or manufacturing experience, know how to use standard test equipment, and can work methodically to return customer equipment to service promptly and to high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics repair, servicing or manufacturing.
• Mechanical assembly and disassembly experience.
• PCB-level soldering skills.
• Ability to use standard electronic test equipment and service tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and confirming faults using established procedures and test equipment.
• Disassembly, reassembly and component replacement.
• PCB-level soldering and hardware modifications where required.
• Testing, validating and verifying completed repairs.
