ProTech Recruitment Ltd in the High Wycombe area is seeking an Electronics Repair Engineer to diagnose, fault-find and repair electronic systems returned by customers. The role emphasizes component-level PCB repair with a focus on soldering and rework, requiring hands-on troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will have proven electronics repair experience, strong soldering skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Intel CPUs is essential for this position.

• Proven experience in electronics repair, fault-finding and component-level diagnostics.
• Hands-on soldering and rework of PCB assemblies.
• Ability to identify root causes and document repairs accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and fault-find electronic systems returned by customers, down to component level.
• Carry out hands-on repairs to electronic assemblies and restore functionality.
• Perform component-level fault-finding on analogue and digital PCBs.
• PCB repairs and rework including soldering, de-soldering and component replacement.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify root causes and verify fixes.
• Validate repairs through functional testing ensuring specifications are met.
