Job summary

TXO is seeking a skilled Repair Operations Engineer in the United Kingdom to test, diagnose and, where capability exists, repair parts in accordance with specifications and procedures. Reports to the Group Repair Operations Manager.

You will assist with the design and implementation of new projects in the Repair Operations workshop, support external customers to ensure successful product rollouts, and help train the wider team to adopt new test specifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive component level repair and screening/testing experience.
• Ability to reverse engineer boards to understand design and functionality.
• Experience with PDH/SDH equipment, Digital Microwave, Datacomms, Power supplies, GSM Base Station, Switching Systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company Policies and Procedures including Quality, Health & Safety, Environment and Information Security.
• Test and Repair customer equipment to client requirements.
• Ensure that test specifications align with manufacturers or industry standards.
• Test, Repair, and Screen equipment and stock and return to working stock with correct identification or prepare dispatch documentation to return to customers within agreed SLAs.
• Oversee handover of relevant projects into the workshop and drive continuous improvement on new and existing projects with Repair Operations.
