Job summary

Redline Group is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer for a specialist electronics manufacturer near Exeter, Devon. The role focuses on hands-on testing, fault finding, and repairing complex electronic products as part of a skilled production team.

You will read circuit diagrams, diagnose faults to component level, and carry out repairs or firmware updates as needed, supporting quality and throughput in a fully site-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics testing, repair, fault finding, or a similar engineering environment.
• Good understanding of electronic circuits and the ability to read circuit diagrams.
• Experience with component-level fault finding would be highly beneficial.
• Meticulous, reliable approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Test and fault-find electronic products through production and final test.
• Read circuit diagrams and diagnose faults down to component level.
• Carry out repairs, testing, and firmware or settings updates where required.
• Support the wider production and test team to maintain quality and output.
