Job summary

Megger is seeking an Electronics Technician to join the PCB Test Team in the United Kingdom. You will support board‑level assembly, testing, inspection, fault‑finding, repair and rework of PCBs in a busy manufacturing environment, diagnosing faults at component and board level and ensuring products meet quality and reliability standards.

Qualifications

Experience in electronics or manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read circuit schematics and PCB layouts.
Experience using electronic test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Carry out automated and dedicated testing of PCB assemblies per procedures.
Diagnose faults at component and board level using schematics and docs.
Perform SMD and through‑hole soldering, desoldering, repair and rework.
Use test gear to identify faults and verify repairs.
Log faults accurately and support root‑cause investigations.
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams on defects.
Ensure work complies with procedures and quality standards.
Support continuous improvement to manufacturing efficiency.
