Qualifikationen

• Strong practical experience in electronic test and component-level fault diagnosis.
• Ability to interpret detailed electronic schematics, drawings and test documentation.
• Experience working with manufacturing, quality, process and design engineers to resolve technical problems.
• Experience with ERP, MES and PLM systems in a manufacturing environment.

Aufgaben

• Carry out detailed fault diagnosis on analogue and digital PCB assemblies, identifying failures down to individual component level.
• Investigate manufacturing test failures to establish root causes and provide clear technical findings to support corrective action.
• Use a broad range of manual and automated test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators to investigate electronic faults.
• Support improvements to production yield by identifying recurring technical issues and helping engineering and manufacturing teams implement effective solutions.
• Produce technical reports that clearly document fault investigations, findings and recommended actions.
• Support the introduction of new test facilities by developing test specifications and clear operator instructions.
• Maintain appropriate configuration control across test specifications, instructions and associated engineering documentation.
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, process and design engineers to resolve technical challenges affecting production.
• Provide Test Engineering input during product design and development, helping ensure testability and manufacturing requirements are considered before production.
• Support engineering activities through to Production Readiness Reviews and the transition into manufacture.
