Job summary

Expleo Group in Northern Ireland is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our growing engineering team, supporting the design, development and testing of complex electronic products and systems within the defence sector.

You will work with systems, software, mechanical and other engineering teams across the full product lifecycle, contributing to circuit design, schematic capture, validation and testing to ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Membership in IET, IEEE or equivalent is desirable.
• Solid electronics knowledge with willingness to develop further.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of electronic circuits, assemblies and systems.
• Contribute to system architectures and electronic design activities.
• Assist with component selection, evaluation and subsystem testing.
• Produce electronic schematics and coordinate PCB layout.
• Carry out circuit analysis, simulation and testing.
• Support integration, verification and validation of assemblies.
• Maintain electronics specifications and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and debug circuits and assemblies.
• Contribute to design reviews and studies for reliability.
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical teams for delivery.
