Job summary

Expleo in Northern Ireland is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will support design, development and testing of electronic circuits and systems within the defence sector, contributing across the full product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with systems, software and mechanical teams to deliver reliable solutions, perform circuit analysis, validation and documentation, and help ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics/electrical engineering or related numerate discipline.
• Solid understanding of electronics principles and design.
• Willingness to develop expertise in defence-oriented projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, integration and testing of electronic circuits and assemblies.
• Produce schematics and work with PCB layout engineers.
• Carry out circuit analysis, simulation and testing.
• Assist with component selection, evaluation and subsystem testing.
• Contribute to design reviews and engineering studies to improve performance.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards and requirements.
