Job summary

Thales Group in Reading is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design electronic circuits, lead lab tests and contribute to product development across the lifecycle. The role blends lab work with design reviews and system integration in a hybrid setup.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compliant electronics for defence and security platforms, with opportunities to advance your skills and participate in peer reviews and relevant training.

Qualifications

• Experience of electronic/electrical design in real-world environment.
• Ability to generate and interpret schematics and test plans.
• Experience with lab work and circuit testing.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuit assemblies from concept through design, test and system integration.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software and safety teams to meet requirements.
• Prepare design documentation, test plans and records and participate in peer reviews.
