Kingdom People - Professional Services seeks an experienced Electronics Design Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in Worthing. You will drive the design, development and introduction of innovative high‑voltage electronic products, delivering projects from concept through production while maintaining engineering excellence.

The role requires hands‑on technical leadership, mentoring of engineers, and close collaboration with customers, commercial teams and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Lead Electronics Design Engineering team with hands‑on involvement.

Are you an experienced Electronics Design Engineering Manager with a passion for developing innovative electronic products and leading high-performing engineering teams?

This permanent position is based in Worthing, West Sussex, offering a competitive salary of up to £80,000, depending on experience, plus an excellent bonus scheme and benefits package.

As the Electronics Design Engineering Manager, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design, development and introduction of innovative high-voltage electronic products. You'll provide both technical and people leadership, ensuring projects are delivered from concept through to production while maintaining the highest standards of engineering excellence.

Working closely with the Chief Engineer, you'll oversee the full product development lifecycle, supporting analogue circuit design, design reviews, verification and validation activities, and ensuring products are designed for manufacture, reliability and performance. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role where you'll guide engineers through complex design challenges while fostering innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

You'll work closely with customers, commercial teams and manufacturing to translate technical requirements into robust engineering solutions. You'll be responsible for engineering resource planning, project delivery, technical governance and mentoring the next generation of design engineers, helping to build a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.

You'll need:

• Proven experience leading an Electronics Design Engineering team
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage power supply design
• Experience delivering products through the full New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle
• Strong understanding of design verification, validation and Design for Manufacture (DFM)
• Experience with control loop design, stability analysis and power supply optimisation
• Ability to lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers through complex design challenges
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with customers, commercial teams and manufacturing
• A degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
