Job summary

Tec Partners Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a small engineering team and oversee multiple R&D and NPI projects from concept through to production, while remaining hands-on with the design of bespoke electro-mechanical products.

You will collaborate with production, programme teams and international colleagues, mentor engineers, support technical quotations and documentation, and drive continuous improvement across engineering processes in a globally established

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience leading or mentoring an engineering team.
• Strong product design experience with electro-mechanical products.
• Experience delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) and R&D projects.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar.
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work directly with customers.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of electronics would be advantageous but is not essential.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to balance technical engineering with leadership responsibilities.
