Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection are seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to design and develop electronic circuitry and firmware for portable equipment in our R&D department. You will redesign existing products for annual launches and work across analogue and digital domains.

The role involves ARM-based microcontrollers (STM32), Altium design, LTSpice simulations, and real-time firmware programming. On-site Watford with a strong engineering legacy.

Qualifications

• Experienced Electronic Design Engineer with analogue and digital design skills.
• Embedded firmware design for real-time systems, ARM MCUs (STM32) preferred.
• Experience with Altium and circuit simulation tools (LTSpice) advantageous.
• Designs for portable hardware; familiarity with safety standards a plus.
• Inverter development or EV BMS exposure is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable equipment.
• Maintain and update existing product line with obsolescence and standards changes.
