Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a dedicated Electronic Design Engineer to join a well-funded R&D department that develops portable and handheld instrumentation. You will design analogue and digital circuitry with firmware input and contribute to annual product launches.

The role offers relocation to Watford, with UK-wide advertising to attract the brightest candidates. Expect exposure to high voltage design, Altium, and ARM-based firmware development for STM32.

Qualifications

• Hands-on analogue and digital electronic design experience.
• Embedded firmware design for ARM-based MCUs (STM32).
• PCB design and circuit simulation tools (Altium, LTSpice).
• High voltage technology designs and safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable electrical equipment.
• Maintenance of existing product line and addressing obsolescence or standard changes.
