Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer for its well-funded R&D department to design electronic circuitry and firmware for portable instrumentation. You will contribute to redesigns for annual product launches and work in a fast-paced, established manufacturing environment.

The role involves hands-on analogue and digital design, embedded firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers (e.g. STM32), and PCB schematic capture using Altium or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Experienced Electronic Design Engineer with hands-on analogue and digital design.
• Exposure to R&D environment and new product development.
• Knowledge of embedded firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers (e.g. STM32) desired.
• Experience with PCB design and circuit simulation tools such as Altium or LTSpice.

Responsibilities

• Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable equipment.
• Maintenance of existing product line, addressing obsolescence and standards changes.
