Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to design and develop electronic circuitry and firmware for portable handheld equipment. You will work in a cutting‑edge R&D team and contribute to both new product development and redesigns for annual launches.

The role offers an autonomous, responsible position with varied projects and a company‑wide focus on innovation; experience with ARM microcontrollers and CAD tools will be advantageous, and the site is based near Watford

Qualifications

• Experienced Electronic Design Engineer with hands-on analogue and digital design skills.
• Exposure to firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers is advantageous.
• Knowledge of high voltage design considerations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuitry and firmware for portable handheld equipment.
• Maintain and update existing product lines; address obsolescence and standards changes.
