Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to design and develop electronic circuitry and firmware for portable equipment in its Watford R&D team.

The role expects hands-on analogue and digital design, embedded firmware for ARM (STM32), and PCB design using Altium/LTSpice. Exposure to high voltage and EV technology is a plus, with flexible core hours and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic circuit design and firmware programming.
• Exposure to mains or EV voltage advisable.
• Hands-on analogue and digital design experience.
• Involvement in instrumentation or measurement equipment design is a benefit.
• Embedded firmware design for ARM MCUs (STM32) beneficial.
• PCB design and circuit simulation tools (Altium, LTSpice) proficient.
• Inverter development or EV BMS experience is a plus.
