Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer for their Watford-based R&D team. You will design electronic circuitry and firmware for portable equipment, while updating existing products for upcoming launches.

The role offers autonomy and a dynamic environment in a well-established company. Applicants should have strong analogue and digital design skills, with ARM-based firmware experience (STM32) and proficiency in Altium/LTSpice for PCB and circuit simulation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of analogue and digital electronic design.
• Knowledge of embedded firmware design for ARM-based microcontrollers (e.g. STM32).
• Proficiency with PCB design and circuit simulation tools (Altium, LTSpice).
• Experience in design/new product development of instrumentation or measurement equipment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Product design of electronic circuitry and firmware for portable electrical equipment.
• Maintenance of existing product line to address obsolescence and standards changes.
