Job summary

Leonardo SpA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Category Manager (L8) for Electronics, covering test solutions, engineering outsourcing and vendor-managed inventory across UK sites including Luton, Basildon and Edinburgh. You will lead a team of procurement professionals, drive category strategies and ensure timely contracts execution with stakeholders across the business.

Travel is moderate and the role offers hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement experience and category management.
• Experience leading a team of procurement professionals.
• Understanding of contracts terms and conditions and regulated environments.
• Degree in business/engineering or equivalent; relevant professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead category strategy across UK sites and manage cross-site stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee tendering, price negotiations and contract execution for assigned categories.
• Develop and implement category management framework in collaboration with the head of direct category management.
• Ensure SAP alignment with negotiated agreements and governance requirements.
