Job summary

MBDA's Electronic Engineering Summer Placement in Stevenage offers an excellent first step in your engineering career. You will join a team designing and integrating electronics for missile systems and will work with engineers from mechanical, software, and test groups on real projects.

The 10-week placement starts June 2027, is on-site five days a week, and provides mentoring, access to lab facilities, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Avionics, Electro-mechanical, Physics or related Engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated interest in electronics design and hands-on lab experience is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate across disciplines (mechanical, software, testing).

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, design and deliver a missile-related project with a small team.
• Work with mentors to apply theory to real hardware and software systems.
• Engage with multiple engineering fields to develop practical electronic solutions.
