Job summary

Jackie Kerr Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler for a Cirencester-based role. You will assemble and wire electrical instruments, inspect PCBs, perform PTH assembly, soldering, and accurate component placement to meet exacting quality standards.

You will read assembly instructions and blueprints, use hand tools, and build sub-assemblies as part of the manufacturing process. Working hours described below may lead to permanence.

Qualifications

• Experience with PTH assembly and component placement.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.
• Previous electronic assembler experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Electronic Assembler Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assembling and wiring of electrical instruments
• Conducted quality inspections on both populated and bare printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Performed Plated Through Hole (PTH) assembly in line with production requirements
• Soldering
• Component placement
• Read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints
• Using hand powered tools
• Meet production standards
• Building of sub-assemblies as part of the manufacturing process

Electronic Assembler Ideal Candidate:

• Have PTH assembly and component placement experience
• Previous experience working from assembly instructions / blueprints
• Experience working as an electronic assembler

Electronic Assembler Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30 (Flexible)
• Friday, 07:30 - 12:00
• Potential to go permanent for the right candidate
