Job summary

An electronics manufacturer in Poole, Dorset is hiring an Assembler to join their production team. You will work on precision electronic and PCB assemblies, performing hand soldering and SMT/through-hole tasks in a clean, organized environment.

The role offers a 7:30am–4pm schedule Monday to Thursday and 7:30am–1pm on Fridays, with weekly pay and the potential to go permanent. No weekends and a pathway to long-term stability are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Strong hand soldering skills, including fine-pitch components.
• Experience with PCB assembly (SMT and through-hole).
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and BOMs.

Assembler – Poole, Dorset – Early finish EVERY Friday + Weekly Pay
Up to £15.00ph inclusive of holiday pay

Key Responsibilities

As an Assembler in Poole, Dorset, you’ll be responsible for precision electronic and PCB production work, including:

• Hand soldering electronic components to a high standard
• PCB assembly (SMT and through-hole processes)
• Working with fine-pitch components with accuracy and care
• Mechanical assembly of electronic units and enclosures
• Cable preparation, crimping, and wiring tasks
• Inspecting, testing, and quality checking completed assemblies
• Rework and modification of electronic boards where required
• Working from technical drawings, BOMs, and build instructions

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing
