Job summary

SQA Services is seeking an Electromechanical Quality Inspector (Level 2) to support a major data center program at a supplier facility in Worcestershire, UK. The role focuses on inspections of chillers, AHUs, and electromechanical assemblies, with strong welding and structural fabrication oversight.

On-site, full-time with an initial 2-year duration and potential extension. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of welding inspection experience or 3+ years with ASME or CWI certification, and must

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding inspection experience, OR 3+ years with ASME/CWI
• Experience reading engineering drawings and basic wiring diagrams
• Experience performing electromechanical, visual, dimensional, and witness inspections
• Familiarity with factory acceptance testing (FAT) and on-site reporting
• Ability to work independently on-site in a production environment

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on chillers, AHUs, and electromechanical assemblies
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and welding inspections per drawings and specs
• Inspect structural fabrication, rivets, and mechanical assemblies
• Support FAT and witness inspections
• Verify supplier conformance to inspection plans and quality requirements
• Review inspection documentation and sign-off packages
• Identify nonconformances and assist with corrective actions
• Provide weekly production and quality performance updates
• Read wiring diagrams and engineering drawings for inspection tasks
