Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support a major engineering programme in Leicester (Radar Road). You will review supplier documentation, inspect welded and machined parts, and verify compliance with QCP/ITP requirements on a 12-month contract.

The role requires CSWIP 3.2/3.1 or PCL Level 2 Weld Inspection, and SC clearance eligibility. You will collaborate with suppliers and project teams to drive corrective actions and ensure documentation accuracy throughout

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.2, CSWIP 3.1 or PCL Level 2 (Weld Inspection) qualification.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify supplier quality documentation.
• Inspect welded and machined components to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Review Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Assess weld schedules, weld maps and associated Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Work with suppliers to ensure manufacturing and inspection activities meet required quality standards.
• Support quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify quality issues and assist in driving corrective actions where required.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with project requirements.
