Job summary

SQA Services is seeking an Electromechanical Quality Inspector (Level 2) to support a major data centre infrastructure program at a Worcestershire facility. The role focuses on inspections of chillers, AHUs, and electromechanical assemblies, with emphasis on welding and structural fabrication.

On-site, 20 hours per week, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Mon–Fri, initially 2-year contract. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of welding inspection experience or 3+ years with ASME/CWI certification, and can read

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding inspection experience OR 3+ years with ASME or CWI certification
• Experience performing electromechanical inspections in manufacturing environments
• Ability to read engineering drawings and basic wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, Gmail and Google Drive for reporting and communication
• Ability to work independently on-site in a fast-paced production environment

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on chillers, air handling units and electromechanical assemblies
• Conduct visual, dimensional and welding inspections per drawings and specifications
• Inspect structural fabrication, rivets and mechanical assemblies
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and witness inspections
• Verify supplier execution to inspection plans and quality requirements
• Review and compile inspection documentation and sign-off packages
• Identify and document nonconformances and support corrective action closure
• Provide weekly updates on production and quality performance
• Utilise Google Sheets, Gmail and Google Drive for reporting and communication
