Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to support a major engineering programme in Leicester (Radar Road). The role focuses on ensuring the quality of welded and machined components for a regulated environment.

You will review supplier quality documentation, inspect manufacturing activities, and verify compliance with QCPs, ITPs and weld procedures. A CSWIP qualification and eligibility for UK SC clearance are required.

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.2, CSWIP 3.1 or PCL Level 2 welding qualification.
• Experience reviewing weld schedules, weld maps and welding procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Experience inspecting welded and machined components.
• Experience in project environments managing supplier quality documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation review skills.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify supplier quality documentation.
• Inspect welded and machined components to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Review QCPs and ITPs.
• Assess weld schedules, weld maps and associated Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Work with suppliers to ensure manufacturing and inspection activities meet required quality standards.
• Support quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify quality issues and assist in driving corrective actions where required.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with project requirements.
