Job summary

Expleo Group is seeking an experienced Test Engineer for their Glasgow facility. The successful candidate will conduct testing and verification of advanced electro-optical defence systems.

This role covers the full product lifecycle and offers a chance to work with a blue-chip client in a regulated environment. Candidates with a strong background in electronics are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Electronics Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with relevant lab test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering test, verification and validation activities across hardware.
• Develop test procedures and documentation aligned to requirements.
• Conduct functional testing and support fault-finding activities.

Skills

Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals

Hands-on experience with lab test equipment

Ability to interpret schematics

Experience developing and executing test procedures

Competence in board bring-up and debug

Experience working within a regulated environment

Education

Degree level qualification in Electronics Engineering

HNC/HND with significant relevant experience

Tools

Oscilloscopes

Logic analysers

Power supplies

DMMs

Signal generators
