Job summary

Siemens' Congleton site is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the in-house maintenance team. The role focuses on diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, performing preventative maintenance, and driving reliability improvements in a high-paced manufacturing setting.

You will apply methodical diagnostics, use CMMS for maintenance records, and contribute to energy and continuous improvement initiatives. Weekend/overtime flexibility and a relevant HNC/HND are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
• Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Flexible with weekends, overtime, and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and routine tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Record maintenance activities and findings in the CMMS and report on improvements.
