Job summary

EMCOR UK in Newbury is seeking qualified electricians for a prestigious site. With a salary ranging from £38,000 to £40,000, the total package can reach up to £46,000 thanks to additional allowances. The role allows every other Friday off, providing an excellent work-life balance with a 9-day fortnight.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent.
• Holding 17th or 18th edition certification is necessary.

• Carry out electrical installation, testing, and maintenance on site.
• Work under a 9-day fortnight schedule with every other Friday off.

Location

Aldermaston, Berkshire, RG7

Salary

Up to £40,000 per annum + onsite allowances. Overtime available – Mon‑Fri flat rate; Sat/Sun/BHs 1.5×.

Hours

Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:45‑16:30 (1615 finish on Friday). Week 2: Monday to Thursday 07:45‑16:30. Enjoy every other Friday off work.

Role Overview

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting electricians to work on our prestigious site. Enjoy a basic salary of £38,000 to £40,000 per annum, plus additional on‑site allowances for certain roles, bringing the total package to £44,000 to £46,000 per annum + overtime. The site works a 9‑day fortnight, so on top of a great package you can enjoy every other Friday off, giving an additional 26 days holiday per year.
