Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking an Electrician to join the Repairs & Maintenance team, covering Blackburn, Clitheroe, Rossendale and Pendle. You will perform electrical repairs in tenanted and vacant properties with a strong emphasis on customer service and quality workmanship.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations (or equivalent) and a valid UK driving licence, with a focus on safe practices and efficient problem-solving.

Qualifications

Electrical qualification required (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Knowledge of BS7671:2018 requirements for Electrical Installations.
Experience in customer-facing electrical repairs is desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties per tickets and drawings, complying with regulations.
Aim to complete repairs in one visit with high workmanship and standards.
Plan and organise work to minimise downtime and reallocate tasks as needed.
Participate in standby or call-out rota as required.
Diagnose faults and obtain approvals for more complex or costly repairs.
Maintain service standards and work safely as part of the team.
