Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking an Electrician to join the Repairs & Maintenance team. You will perform electrical repairs in tenanted and vacant properties across South Yorkshire, including Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham and Stocksbridge.

We require an NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations, BS7671 knowledge, and a City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 qualification. A UK driving licence is essential. A company van for personal use is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and repairs in tenanted properties.
• Knowledge of electrical installations and safety standards.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Experience working across multiple sites to complete repairs in one visit.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties.
• Work to good workmanship and service standards.
• Plan and organise work to minimise time loss and re-allocate as needed.
• Be prepared for overtime and stand-by/call-out rota.
• Diagnose faults and obtain approvals for more expensive jobs.
• Maintain high standard of workmanship and safety.
