Job summary

Gov Facility Services Limited is hiring a dedicated Electrician for HMP Standford Hill in Kent. The role focuses on maintaining complex electrical systems within a Category D security environment, ensuring safe and reliable operation through planned and preventive maintenance.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and bring strong knowledge of BS7671, Level 3 electrical qualifications, and at least two years of experience as a qualified electrician.

Qualifications

• BS7671:2018 (18th edition) certificate or equivalent.
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services with NVQs/competency assessments (AM2/AM2S).
• Two years' experience as a fully qualified electrician.
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems.
• Good knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations.
• Strong health & safety knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
