Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) seeks a fully qualified Electrician (Level 3) for HMP Bure. This full-time role offers £42,062.25 (includes £1,000 recruitment retention allowance and a 5% shift allowance) and a 39-hour week.

You will join the Facilities Maintenance Team, delivering safe electrical services in a prison environment, with emphasis on planned and preventive maintenance, health and safety, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition).
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
• Two years’ experience working in a role as a fully qualified electrician
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
