Job summary

Broadland Housing Association in Norfolk and North Suffolk seeks a qualified Electrician to join its Asset Team to maintain homes and support residents. You will perform planned electrical works across domestic rewires, upgrades, and communal systems, with occasional reactive repairs.

This full-time role covers Norfolk and North Suffolk, requires driving license and relevant City & Guilds qualifications, and offers progression opportunities, a company vehicle, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds 2357 / City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• City and Guilds 5357 including AM2S apprenticeship
• City and Guilds 2360 – Part 1 and Part 2
• AM2 (depending on qualification period)
• City and Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3
• City and Guilds or equivalent 2382 (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations)
• City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification
• A Driving Licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required
• Experience of working in Property Maintenance
• Good IT skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned electrical works including rewires, upgrades, and fuse board changes.
• Support with electrical repairs across responsive repairs, EICRs and void properties.
• Ensure work is performed in a timely manner aligned with performance indicators.
• Manage tenant enquiries and report to the relevant manager.

Education

City and Guilds 2357 / City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent

City and Guilds 5357 including AM2S apprenticeship

City and Guilds 2360 – Part 1 and Part 2

AM2 (depending on qualification period)

City and Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3
