Job summary

Broadland Housing Association is seeking a qualified Electrician to join the Maintenance Team and carry out planned and reactive electrical works across Norfolk and North Suffolk. You will work with the team to deliver bathroom aids, kitchen wiring alterations and related repairs.

The role requires City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent), 18th Edition (2382) and 2391 testing. A driving licence is essential for travel across the area and a DBS check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
• AM2 is desirable depending on NVQ completion.
• 2382 18th Edition of Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Work with Electrical Team to deliver planned electrical works (bathroom aids, kitchen wiring).
• Support delivery of electrical repairs across responsive repairs, EICRs and void properties.
• Ensure work is completed timely in line with performance indicators.
• Manage tenant enquiries and report to the relevant manager.
