Job summary

Broadland Housing Association is seeking an Electrician to join our Maintenance Team. You will carry out electrical reactive works and EICRs across Broadland homes, with a focus on the West patch and periodic duties in Norfolk and North Suffolk.

The role requires City and Guilds qualifications, a driving licence and a commitment to safe, high-quality work. You will be on-call and benefit from a company vehicle, pension and generous leave.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds electrical installation qualifications required.
• NVQ/AM2 as appropriate with relevant wiring regulations.
• Experience in property maintenance and electrical inspections.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical reactive repairs and EICRs for Broadland homes.
• Support Planned and Void works as required.
• Ensure work is completed timely against performance indicators.
• Manage tenant enquiries and report to the relevant manager.

Education

City and Guilds 5357 / City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent

City and Guilds 2360 – Part 1 and Part 2 or equivalent

AM2 depending on when NVQ completed

City and Guilds or equivalent 2382 (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations)

City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification
