Job summary
Ltek Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a growing engineering team in Glasgow. You will carry out inspecting and testing on customer electrical installations (EICRs), including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis, thermal imaging, and minor repairs.
The role offers a base salary of £40k with potential earnings around £60k including bonus, on-call, overtime and travel time.
Qualifications
- 2391 testing and inspection certification (or equivalent) required.
- NVQ Level 3 and City & Guilds 2360/2365 L3 Diploma or 2330 qualification.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition required.
- AM2 or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and 12+ months experience.
- Experience with commercial lighting replacements is essential.
- Strong IT literacy and health & safety awareness.
Responsibilities
- Carry out inspecting & testing on customer electrical installations (EICRs), including Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis, Thermal Imaging and small remedial repairs.
- Complete all relevant reports and certification with our cloud-based certification software.
- Ensure all reports and certification are completed and submitted on time.
