Job summary
Guardian Electrical Compliance Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial and industrial sites in the Glasgow area. The role requires identifying hazards, documenting non-compliance, and providing actionable recommendations to clients.
The successful candidate will possess City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3, IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition and a valid UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical inspection or related field.
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) in Inspection and Testing.
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
- IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
- Valid UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
- Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues.
- Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
- Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
- Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.
