Job summary

Hydro International, part of CRH, is seeking an Electrician to install, commission and test water filtration systems on sewage sites across the United Kingdom. You will perform site inspections and fault finding, compiling surveys for quotations while working with a team of engineers and trades.

The role requires a valid driving licence, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations, 18th Edition and JIB Gold Card, with occasional overnight stays and potential workshop work across the country.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.

• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and on sewage sites.
• Occasionally work away from home with overnight stays.
• May work in company workshops across the country.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and trades within the business.

The Electrician will be working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies working on sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

About the Job

• You will be Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites
• You will carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes
• You will be required to access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment
• You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage)
• You will be required to work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• You may also be required to work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion
• You will be working as a team with other staff and trades within the business
