Job summary

Hydro International is seeking an Electrician to join the UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. The role involves installing and commissioning water filtration systems on sewage sites, with site inspections, fault finding, and reporting for quotations.

You will access technical instructions via mobile devices, work at heights and in confined spaces, and regularly travel with overnight stays. A valid driving license and electrical qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

Current valid driving license is required.
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations is required.
18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge.
JIB Gold Card demonstrates competence in electrical installation work.
C&G 2391 inspection and testing qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
Carry out site inspections and fault finding; prepare survey reports for quotations.
Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile equipment.
Work at heights, in confined spaces and outdoors on wastewater sites.
Regular overnight stays away from home are required.

The Electrician will be working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies working on sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

About the Job

You will be Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites
You will carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes
You will be required to access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment
You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage)
You will be required to work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
You may also be required to work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion
You will be working as a team with other staff and trades within the business
