Job summary

CRH plc, via Hydro International, seeks an Electrician to join the UK Wastewater Services team. You will install, commission and test filtration systems on sewage sites across the UK, performing inspections and fault finding while interpreting technical instructions on mobile devices.

Role involves working at heights, in confined spaces, and staying away from home regularly; occasional workshop work nationwide may occur.

Qualifications

• Current valid driving license.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th Edition.
• JIB Gold Card.
• C&G 2391 (inspection & testing).

Responsibilities

About the Job

The Electrician will be working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies working on sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

• Installing, commissioning, setting up and testing water filtration systems on sewage sites
• Carrying out site inspections and fault finding and compiling survey reports for quotation purposes
• Accessing and interpreting technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment
• Working at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage)
• Working away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays
• Possibly required to work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion
• Working as a team with other staff and trades within the business

About You
