Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking an Electrician to join our Repairs & Maintenance team covering the Calderdale area. You will perform electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties with a focus on high quality workmanship and customer service.

The role works a 4 on/4 off pattern, 12-hour days on weekdays and 7.5-hour weekend shifts, with a starting salary of £43,109. A full UK driving licence and NVQ3 Electrotechnical Installations are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification and related competency required to perform repairs in tenanted and vacant properties.
• Must adhere to Building Regulations and service standards with Right First Time ethos.
• Experience in caretaking of electrical installations and repairs.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and be able to travel across Calderdale area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs in tenanted and vacant properties.
• Work to job tickets, time slots, specifications and drawings.
• Strive for first-visit completion with high workmanship standards.
• Organise workflow to minimise downtime and re-allocate tasks as needed.
• Assist with standby or call-out rota and overtime as required.
