Zusammenfassung

Together Housing Group is seeking an Electrician to join the Repairs & Maintenance team. You will perform electrical repairs across tenanted and vacant properties with a focus on quality and first-time fix. The role covers the Calderdale area and operates a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

We offer a starting salary of £43,109 plus benefits, with a shared van arrangement and a shift schedule that includes long weekdays and weekend coverage. LGPS pension, leave, and ongoing opportunities are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Electrical qualification - NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Installations or equivalent.
• Knowledge of BS7671:2018 requirements for Electrical Installations.
• 2391/2394 Testing & Inspection.
• Full UK Manual drivers licence.
• Experience of working competently in all disciplines normally expected of a qualified Electrician/ Electrical Technician along with other associated building disciplines as required and as appropriate.
• Relevant post qualification experience.
• Experience of working in a customer service environment.
• Experience of maximising number of jobs completed and repairs completed in one visit.

Aufgaben

• Carry out all types of Electrical repairs to both tenanted and vacant properties in accordance with job tickets, opti‑time appointment slots, specifications and contract drawings, to good practice, Building Regulations etc as appropriate and applicable.
• Work with an ethos of "Right First Time" always completing a repair where practicable in one visit, with good quality workmanship and good standard of performance.
• Organise work to minimise lost or non‑productive time, highlighting pro‑actively if you have too much / too little work so that work can be re‑allocated, extra work allocated etc as appropriate.
• Assist in addressing peaks and troughs in workload by working overtime and at other times when requested by prior arrangement with your manager. Participate in stand‑by or call‑out rota.
• Use initiative to diagnose and undertake repairs which may be different from the job required or where the job required was of a locate fault type nature. Obtain approval beforehand as appropriate where the job is more expensive than anticipated.
• Work to a consistently high standard of workmanship in line with service specification, service standards, safe working procedures and as part of a team to ensure the most efficient use of time, materials and resources.

We are looking for a Electrician to join our Repairs & Maintenance team. As an Electrician you will provide all types of Electrical repairs, to tenanted and vacant properties, with a customer service quality driven repair and maintenance service. In this role you will be covering the Calderdale area.

We are looking for someone who has:

Benefits

• Starting salary £43,109
• You will share a fully equipped van with another employee within the same trade, with responsibility for handing the vehicle over at the end of your four‑day shift
• This role operates on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
• Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 8:00pm (11‑hour shift including a 1‑hour break), Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 9:00am - 5:00pm (7.5‑hour shift including a 30‑minute break)
• Annual leave equivalent to 27 days (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holiday supplement
